Ps4 Serial Number Check

Need help retrieving my PS4 serial number (self.playstation) submitted 3 years ago * by melka3011. And for the police to send the warrant they need the serial number. Now, of course, the serial number is written on the device itself, and I don't have the box anymore. Check the cardboard box it came in sometimes there is a sticker with. Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC ('SIE') warrants to the original purchaser (“you”) that the PS4™ hardware, which includes components contained in the retail box with this hardware (“Product”), will be free from material defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase (the 'Warranty Period').
There's a sticker on my box with three bar codes and three series of letters/digits. First one starts with P, then 8 numbers, then a E. Second starts with an S, then 9 numbers, then a G. last one says 'POS BAR CODE' and has 10-12 numbers on (depening if you count two numbers spaced quite far away from the central digits). I've looked online but could only find an example of what a US box sticker looks like, which explicitly mentions the serial number.
I'm not expecting much and insurance will cover (most of) the damage, but it would be neat if the asshole who broke in my appartment could get caught thanks to this.

Like the title says. My PS4 has been stolen during a robbery while I've been on vacation. Now, for sony to monitor the stolen PS4 they need a police warrant. And for the police to send the warrant they need the serial number. Now, of course, the serial number is written on the device itself, and I don't have the box anymore. What I do have is the receipt, my ID, and the MAC adress. Please tell me this is enough to get either side (police or sony) to help me retrieve my stolen things. It's really frustrating, and I hope someone has a solution to my issue.

Edit: Looks like I've fought against the stream here. Even with all evidence of buying the device, they won't give me my serial number. They hold it like it's the holy grail. And they HAVE acces to it, since I asked wether they don't have it or they just won't/can't give it to me and they answered the latter. Young jeezy all we do mp3 download. I'm really disappointed since it was my last straw to retrieve my stolen stuff. The police told me that the laptop serial number (which was also stolen) won't do much good since they can't track it. The only hope was the nonexistan cooperation from Sony. I'm really pissed at their policy which protects the thieves, and I'm really considering not to buy Sony products again (not that I am financially able to now anyways). I'm still gonna go against hope and ask on twitter and facebook a few times, but that's the end of the story it seems.
